AREA II Small School Tournament

Good Job. To all the players in the championship in the boys tournament. Oneida played real good in the 1st Quarter of the championship game. They was up 9-0 and #22 came and hit a 3 and that lit up Huntsville in the 2nd. Oneida was leading at halftime. I think the score was 18 to 16. Oneida and Huntsville started the 3rd Quarter playing tight D and the final of the 3rd was 23 to 23. They went on to the 4th and Oneida started up getting up by 4 27 to 23. Then huntsville came back and got up 32 to 29. Mark Miller hit a 3 and tied it 32 to 32 with about 40 sec. left in the game. With 4 seconds left Oneida fouled #30 and he hit is first free throw and missed his second with 4 seconds Oneida couldnt do nothin.

Both Championships were great last night. Does anyone have the all tounry players? I left as soon as Huntsville pulled that one out. I feel for ya #21 I've been there. Best of luck 2nd and 3rd place teams in the substate i'm tellin ya It's rough going on the road. If any info I'd appreciate it.

Those were some great games Saturday evening at Wartburg Central High School. The four best teams in Area II played in their respective championships (Oneida Boys, Huntsville Boys, Petros-Joyner Girls, & Coalfield Girls). The boys game was truely epic. The girls game was a showdown between two of the best. I have heard some talk on here about poor seeding and poor tournament management, but that is just what it is.... Talk. It was clear Saturday night, despite tournament seeding, the two best teams in both championship games were in fact the best teams. Not much else to say except great games Saturday night. Does anybody know anything about Huntsville boys? What style of ball do they like to play?

Huntsville boy are a really good team ...and i think that they will meet Oneida in the championship and huntsville will pull it out again like last time b/c no1 can shut down big mason #30 and gazay #3 but it will be a close game again !!!!!!!! GO BEARS:D
