gsj
KAZ, Congrats on a good year, you guys improved everynite throughout the year with a inexperienced group of girls ( only 2 8th graders) . I'm looking forward to see how this 7th grade class will come of age next year, should be a great year. PS: #20 averaged 2 pts per min. in this tourney why did you not play her more. Do you have problems with her dad? THANKS for everything!
kazam37
Had I had the "foresight" to realize #20 was going to be such an efficient scorer in this tournament we'd have certainly thrown her to the wolves sooner. Of course, waiting until the final minute of the game didn't enhance the "Machine Gun"s ability to shoot rapidly and ask questions later. I won't bore you with the field goal percentage overall, lets just say it didn't break 20......heck, it didn't break 15. Trust me on this, I didn't enjoy being the bug. (some days your the bug and some days your the windshield!) The only upside is, as you stated, the return of some good players to work with. They will have to learn to compete with more heart and fire. We backed down a lot more than I expected. Good luck, looks like a few land mines have been removed(Wartburg), still.....tread carefully and enjoy the view at the top! Kaz

bigdave25
Kaz, Good season! It looks like you guys are going to be bringing back some good players. Hopefully, the district will be between you guys and Wartburg again......at least that's my hope.
harriman23
I guess Wartburg boys proved not to be the team everyone thought, They do have some good players, but I did not think they would get passed Robbins and then Oneida. If they had been in the bottom with Huntsville they more then likely would not had made it passed them, because I think Huntsville has the best chance at getting Oneida. If they play like I've seen and heard they can.
bigdave25
Newsflash Harriman 23 Huntsville isn't going to beat Oneida and they'll have a difficult time winning their substate game.
AJ98
Oneida will win this tournament hands down. Wartburg boys had a bad night. The point guard broke his nose in the first half, one of their leading scorers only scored 5, two of their guards got into foul trouble in the third quarter! Now....give Robbins some credit..the Brumley kid scored a boat load of points, and their guards gave Wartburg's trouble. I don't know if Wartburg would have beaten Oneida. Wartburg gave Oneida their best game, 8 points I think. Good luck to Coach Jeffers in the rest of the tournament!

killtacular
Tonight Oneida Blew Robbins out from what i hear. final score: oneida - 61 robbins - 25 if what i heard was right. I think Huntsville will be playing Oneida but i think Oneida will leave with another district championship.
