Fourth Place qualifiers for the Individual tournament

I know on the TSSAA website they have what regions will get a fourth place qualifier in the state tournament. But how will the 32 man bracket be filled out. I know the topic has been brought up, but if there are 9 regions with 3 qualifiers and one more with 4, that totals 31.

Region 2 gets 1st - 4th place in all weight classes. Regions 1 and 3-9 get 1st - 3rd. This equals 31 per weight. The remaining qualifier, 4th place wrestler, is the one that was supposedly blind drawn into the 3 qualifier regions:

103 - Region 1

112 - Region 3

119 - Region 7

125 - Region 3

130 - Region 8

135 - Region 6

140 - Region 10

145 - Region 4

152 - Region 5

160 - Region 6

171 - Region 9

189 - Region 7

215 - Region 9

275 - Region 4

That makes a total of 32 men per bracket.

Will the non-qualifying regions recognize their 4th place finishers (4th place medal)? Or is that up to each region to decide?

Because 14 is not a multiple of 9, so it couldn't come out even.

Region 6 gets the 4th qualifier in all weight classes because that region had the most wrestlers advance the deepest into the state tournament.

 

The others were granted a bye on a blind draw. It just happens that the regions mentioned came up twice.

No, it's region 2 that gets four in all classes, because it has a lot more teams than any other region. Region 6's power was instead reflected by giving it one of the two direct second entries to the duals.

Can't answer that for certain, but they do definitely contribute the standard 4 place points.

So in the state tourn. a region champion can wrestle another region champion in the second round as opposed to the quarterfinals last year. Will the pairings in the first round be 1vs 3 2vs 2 1vs2 1vs 4. I am still confused on how they will pair the wrestlers.
