Great post.

I could not agree more about two refs. I have seen them wait to see if someone else will make the hard calls over and over. I'm even for letting them split the money from the third ref, if it will allow us to attract better people.

Why do we have district tourneys after a 14 game district schedule? Send the top four to the region and send the sectional teams to the state.

Same reason the SEC and just about everyone else does, $$$$$$$

1- BRING BACK THE JUMP BALL ON A TIE-UP

2- PUT THE HORN BACK IN FOR SUBS

3- 3 REFS ARE NEEDED FOR BASKETBALL

4- 6:30 START TIMES OR ALTERNATE ITS REALLY NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL

5- ALSO ALLOW THE COACHES TO BLACK BALL REFS FOR THERE GAMES DURING

THE PLAYOFFS

6- 4 DIVISIONS BUT I STILL THINK D2 IS NEEDED

CORRECT DISTRICT AND REGION TO HELP CUT DOWN ON TRAVEL

8- FOOTBALL SHOULD GO TO 1ST AND 2ND PLACE ONLY MAKE IT TO

PLAYOFFS AND LETS GO BACK TO HAVING BOWL GAMES OR IF UR GOING

TO ALLOW 3 AND 4 MAKE THEM TRAVEL ACROSS THE STATE ,

I MEAN REALLY 160 TEAMS ARE IN OUR PLAYOFF SYSTEM FOR FOOTBALL NOT

COUNTING THE D2 GAMES THATS NOT A TRUE WAY TO DETERMINE A TRUE

CHAMPION I MEAN LETS NOT HAVE A REGULAR SEASON AND JUST START WITH THE PLAYOFFS

9-ALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS SHOULD BE IN MURFREESBORO OR NASHVILLE

10-AND START OUR OWN HIGH SCHOOL ALL-STAR GAMES LIKE D2 AND A VS 3A AND 2A SOMETHING TO CHANGE IT UP RATHER THAN THESE TN VS KY GAMES

11- ALLOW THE MEDIA TO INTERVIEW THE REFS AFTER A GAME SO THEY CAN BE ACCOUNTABLE TO CALLS THEY MADE ...

PLEASE Apply the mercy rule… If a team is losing by 30 points in the fourth quarter and both coaches agree: Stop the pain for the team and fans. “Have a running clock.”

 

 

 

A Mercy rule are you kidding, how is it fair for a team and their coach to practice so hard so they can beat teams and advance just so when they are beating a team they deserve to beat due to their hard work, pull the mercy card, thats ridiculous!!!!!! the team who deserves to win should!!!!

Amen to that.

Most coaches pull their starters when the game is in the bag. They may leave a starter in with four from the bench. If it gets really out of hand, in comes the frosh, with something to prove.

I say let them play. You bleecher seat quarterbacks need to chill out.
