It's interesting to look back on early predictions. With only a few games to play, I think the standings are:

 

1. South Doyle (9-1 on CoachT but I think they're really 11-1)

2. William Blount (11-3)

3. Bearden (8-3)

4. Farragut (8-5)

5. Heritage (4-5)

6. Maryville (2-6)

7. Sevier County (1-10)

8. Lenoir City (1-11)

 

I don't know how accurate these standings are because not every team reports results to CoachT very well.

 

It seemed like everyone thought S-D would be pretty good, so they aren't a surprise. I think from early discussions the surprises are WB at #2 (only WB fans had them that high) and Farragut at #4 (no one expected the Admirals to fall that far). My poor LC boys have had problems on and off the field and my hopes that they might finish at 5 or 6 were much too optimistic.

Looking at the standings on Knoxville NewsSentinel's PrepXtra website, you'll find these standings are correct except at 5 and 6. Maryville will be the likely 5 seed for next weeks AAAD4 tournament, having beaten Heritage twice.
