You know enough about Whitwell's program to comment on their pitching, but you don't know if South Pittsburg has a team or not?

There program is not that good. There still forming it up there in SP.

South Pitt is along way from being back. They will not be very good for years to come. That is based on last years high school team, the last couple of middle school teams, and their summer program. They do have a new coach but their last coach was all they had going for them.

You are right, it will take a few years to get back on track. It wasn't too long ago they had one of the best programs around. The 90's were good to them, but since then it has been tough. It would have helped if they could have kept a lot of the kids they lost to Jasper. That hurts when you are a small community. It will take them awhile to get over losing a lot of good kids.

Yes, SP is way down and maybe for a while to come. But, let's not forget that they won a state title less than 10 years ago under Danny Wilson. So to ask if they even have a program seems a little harsh doesn't it?

ALL I KNOW IS THAT I WILL FEEL SORRY FOR SOUTH PITTSBURG IN ABOUT A MONTH WHEN THEY PLAY JASPER....JASPER NOT ONLY HAS ALOT OF SOUTH PITTSBURG KIDS BUT ALOT OF MONTEAGLE KIDS AS WELL...THEY WILL BE TOUGH TO HANDLE THIS YEAR....IF THE PIRATES DONT BRING AN A GAME IT COULD EASILY BE A 25-0 ROUT
