After beating Humboldt in the Chirstmas Tournament. Peabody hasn't been the same team since then! I guess they got big headed and started thinking they where the best. If Peabody would just play like they played against Humboldt in the Chirstmas Tournament maybe would of been Number 1. I felt embrassed loosing to a buch ###### boys on the Halls Team. Peabody just didn't play good that night. It was totally different team!

lets not downgrade a good halls team that beat a good trenton team! Fact is after losing a player like Doaks how can you expect to be at the same level, especially without a player of his equilvence. Besides, just to make it to the region tourney out of this district is an accomplishment. Lake Co., Union City, and Humboldt are great teams and maybe a step better than halls or trenton but halls and trenton both could beat Those three on any given night! I have seen all 5 teams play multiole times and believe that district 14's top five could beat most other districts top five across the state. It is a shame that trenton misses regionals and it will be a shame that only 2 teams out of our region will make substate!! But, lets not be derogatory to any fo these fine squads.

Everyone has down years...these have definately been down years for both teams over there

What do you mean by this. Fact remains you lost embarassed or not , you only beat us at Peobody by 1 in overtime, then you came to Halls and lost. But how dare you critize Halls, our boys have respect for Trenton's teams and we have ties to both teams. Some of the Trenton players have family in Halls and on the team. So we know you don't speak for everyone. It would be wise to watch what you say.

Why would you be embarrassed to lose to Halls? If Peabody would've won, I would have considered that an upset.

      Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.

      I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.

      You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
