Im not going to say which game but last night in the District 13AA tournament.

Team A: 40% from the field, 28 rebounds, 21 turnovers.

Team B: 30% from the field 25 rebounds 18 turnovers.

Sounds like the game would be a close game huh?

Free Throw Margin.

Team A: 7 attempts 6 made.

Team B: 47 attempts 34 made. (It's not a typo I keep the stats and dbl. checked it with the score book.)

Would it be tough for most teams to win if this were their FT margin.

Please give me your opinion.

They shot 10 FT in the first half so 37 where shot in the 2nd half 33 in the fourth quarter.

Intentional fouling didnt happen until about 1:30 to go.

No one has answered the question? Would it be hard for most teams to win wiht this?

Yes, it would be hard to overcome, but it was their own fault.

I love Wes's answer!! "Sounds like team A fouled too much"!!

Nowhere does it mention in the rule book that all fouls and free throws have to be equal for both teams! Just because A fouls does not mean B gets the next foul!

Could it have been that A kept fouling on shots, sending B to the line often while B played great defense and fouled very little?? I have seen many games where one team is hacking, slapping, and grabbing all over the court while the other team is playing great defense, going straight up on shots, and keeping their hands off the other team. Should they be penalized?? Of course not!!

People yell about the fouls or foul shots being "uneven"!! Simply put, one team is fouling a bunch and the other team is playing great defense. If you don't slap, grab, or hack, you don't have any problems!!
