Was Hennigan a senior? ...and will he end up at TTU with his Dad? Great kid. Great family.

Yes he was a senior. I don't know if he will end up playing for Dad or not, but that was what I was expecting. However, I've learned that they have already picked up the QB from, I believe, Lincoln Co., so who knows.

As far as the Cavs in '06, I think they will come back just as strong as they were this past season. They did loose a great senior class, but the returning players are all pretty solid, and some of them were starters last season also. I don't know what the QB situation will be, because I don't know who is in the running for that. The 2nd QB from '05 was starting WR Rob Winningham, and he was a senior also. You can bet that Coach J will have them ready to go on opening night, though! :thumb:

which qb did cookeville get from lincoln county? I havent heard anything about that. I didnt like seeing 2 split the playing time last year.

LC! LC! LC!

No, you misunderstood my comment. Zach's Dad is the Head Coach at TTU. That is where I heard that the LC quarterback was going to.

Not that it matters here, and its 'off-topic,' but the only QB TTU got was Lee Sweeney, transfer from U of Louisville. He played at Friendship Christian. Maybe Zach can play defense, WR, etc. ?

If he does go to TTU, that's my guess as to what he will do. He only played QB as a senior. Before that he played WR and DB. He's very good at DB and played that for most of the season this year also. Getting Sweeney is a big plus for them! I hadn't heard that till now.

Now, am I losing my mind? I swear I read on one of these threads that the QB from Lincoln Co. had committed to Tech recently. I must have misread something.

The qb's from LC will be a sr and jr. Another qb from taht area was going to Tech, but is going elsewhere.

Sweney will be able to help Tech.

Coach Joslin will reload at Cookeville. Cookeville should battle Lincoln Co for the top spot.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
