I wasn't sure if 8AA had enough to take advantage of 7AA's district flip- flop. Tonight obviously proves they didn't. DCA gave it a shot, but the others got smoked.

And this year would be considered a down year for the Lady Wildcats. But teams with winning traditions usually find a way to win. Sad part is LA has to find a way to beat Upperman and then Smith Co. or York.

As usual this district continues to play the best basketball in the state year in year out.

I think we play Livingston on Wednesday...so they'll have to get through us before they meet York or Upperman again...I think!

Well Queenie I wasn't for sure how the bracket was but either way it's going to be hard for LA girls. If you get by one team there awaits another one just as good. Something I'm sure your well aware of. But what would you expect from a district that houses the top teams every year. Thank goodness Jackson Co. moved down to 1A or I'm sure one of us wouldn't be here.

Good luck to your Lady Owls. Should be another great game.

    • Mancoverage sez: This thread has been an absolute delight! Absolutely marvelous! Such eloquent and rosy prose, contained here in, is so seldom found amongst the more jocular subset of our species. The brilliant author behind such poetic use of an obviously deep and broad vernacular, reminds me of the other-worldly talents of Oscar Wilde. I humbly thank you, kind sir, for so generously sharing your elegantly loquacious gifts. The Goat sez: You better watch your back, Lord Byron, I’m sure poetry isn’t the only talent and passion that the author shares with Oscar Wilde.

    • Cleveland has a good booster club, I would assume. Don’t believe Red Bank even has one, but at BC, it’s a mix of coaches and players on the team.
