I wonder if Smyrna will get the respect it is due now. The score is low; I would guess either an off night of shooting or very good defense----I like to think it was a great game of defense. Anyone got details?

Well this just means Smyrna gets another chance to show they deserve to be #1 by beating a good team. WC could get beat in the next round coming off a possible soft game against Whites Creek.

I would expect both region 5-AAA teams to win, but I don't necessarily think that Whites Creek is an easy out. They are big and athletic and they have some really solid basketball players. I think there record is a bit decieving since they had some off the court issues around Christmas (death in the family of one of the players) that some players had a hard time with.

 

I personally think Hillsboro matches up very well against Smyrna. I would expect that to be close.

 

I don't think these substate games will be as easy as last year for 5-AAA.
