Bearden is pretty amazing from the last time I saw them.Tony Whote Jr. is the quickest guard I've seen all year, although Throp and Sensabaugh are also very quick and if either of those guys can limit White they have a chance. It won't be easy but they have a chance, they'll have to play great and get out on the shooters. But I think they will hang with them. When Central played Bearden,Bearden was up 4 at halftime and then went on a big run.If DB shoots the ball well and gets out on the shooters I'm thinking it'll be a great game.

Because it's at Bearden I'll take Bearden by 12,but I'm thinking it will be a good game.

Good luck to both teams :thumb:

It will be the complete oppostie of this years sqaud. they have 3 freshman on the varsity that are 6'4 and over. It will be intresting to see how the offense changes when it goes back to be more post oriented. They should be fine as long as Blevins is coaching there. He is one of the top high school coaches in the entire state. He knows more about basketball and adjustments that need to be made than any other coach I have ever met. Tommmorow night should be an incredible game and an incredible atmosphere at the Doghouse. I suggest getting there early if you want a seat. The gym will be packed

very much so a coach who plays team ball...it just so happens that he has one of the finalist for Mr. Basketball in AAA this year so sometimes it looks as if it is star ball sometimes. In 11 years as Coach of the Bulldogs he has won 307 games...and astounding 27 games a year. That my friend is a pretty good record. He just knows how to get the most out of the players that he has and uses their strenghts to the other teams weakness.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
