643-dp
District 4 AAA is wide open this year. It looks like 2 or 3 teams could be in the running for the crown. In seeing sevier co in the past, I don't think they have the horses to make a run. They did seem young last year, so maybe they have alot coming back. Only time will tell. OutfielderNPitcher217
This year they have 4 seniors (one that strictly pitches) 3 juniors, a sophmore, and a freshman starting varsity this year. In their 4 scrimmages, theyve scored 41 runs total, which is almost half the amount of runs they scored all last season. There are signs of improvement from "Coach T" and the Smoky Bears. frankenvol
Who is the new head coach over there?
OutfielderNPitcher217
Coach Traywick is the head coach at Sevier County. Yes, they travel tomorrow to play Seymour. Any predictions? Should be a good game between these 2 in-county rivals. Wow Guru, long time no talk. They have played Jefferson County 3 times (1-1-1) and Carter twice (1-1). They played hard at Carter tonight, but lost a 4-3 battle. Carter got key hits in their half of the 7th, and scored the winning run. Tough loss for the Bears. Everyone is doing great so far. Two seniors quit before the pre season started (2 former 2nd baseman, one who which rotated between 2nd and short), but we've had great Senior leadership pulling us through so far, and its going to continue.
