I'm guessing your from Dunlap, I am saying Bledsoe has improved, based on the fact I have watched 95% of their practices and scrimmage games, I have also stated that their tests are yet to come, and time will tell. If I am correct about the team you are with, then you have a very good team, likely the class of the valley. Be careful, anything can happen, just look at last year when Jasper beat you twice in the regular season, and you all beat them in the tourney, anything is possible. There is a fine line between confidence and cocky.

Yes I'm from SC, and all I was saying was it's to early to tell if one has improved until you play equal opponents. And I am confident about SC.

You definately have good reason to beleive Dunlap is a very good team, and I feel I have reason to beleive Bledsoe has improved. All this will, as i have said, be shown in time. Can't wait for Jasper to see

Jasper beats Bledsoe 13-4. Jasper scored 6 in the first. Bledsoe rallied late to score 4 in fifth to eliminate the run rule. Jasper played better but still needs to improve. Bledsoe did not play as well as they could have. Tomorrow's game should be a good one.

Actually Jasper scored 7 in the first. As I said in earlier posts, this would be a test for both teams, and Bledsoe definately failed. We got racked, and until they show something different, it is indeed the "same ole Jasper" and "the same ole Bledsoe"! No excuses, we got drilled!

    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
    • If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
    • I say over as well. Barney, regarding the move to 4A, will the cross-town blowhards move up as well??
