Jasper beat Bledsoe 10-7. Closer and uglier than the night before. Both teams played horrible. Both teams are capable of playing much better.

Jasper beat Red Bank today 16-6. They played much better today. Played better in the field and really hit the ball well.

Closer score and improved play on the home field. Looks like Jasper may have problem on the road......

 

7th grade pitcher must be rough for Jasper, and relief pitcher also 7th grade, was tough..... is this all the pitching BCMS has ??? Was it the snow ????

With Dalton out, pitching probably is a little weak for BC. But Jasper isn't much better.

Closer doesn't mean improved for either team how many fly balls hit the ground for both teams. We can only hope the weather played a big part. Jasper did have problems with the slower pitching but the young guy did good hitting the corners and some of our young guys simple were froze by the curve.

Actually pitching hasn't been the problem for JMS. We are having trouble making routine plays. Sat. looked better and now that everyone is back from spring break maybe everyone can get back to their usual positions and we can stop the ugliness.
