i agree...but toylon smith for humboldt has a very good floater...which he shot that over wayne chism a lot of times...some didn't make it over him of course but i would say at least more than half of the time it didn't get blocked and scored...so if toylon can do that against tennessee signee chism...then i think he'll be able to do that to yall's guy...but we'll have to see what happens

It will be a very interesting game. The athleticism of Humboldt vs the pure basketball players of Grace. Sorry Union City, I think these are the best two teams in the state. Winner of this takes home the Gold ball.

oh ok.....Thanks for the info.....I had my names mixed up. Red and white, good luck to yall... I think yall can are about to "Rack" Humboldt.

It will be tough. A very interesting matchup.

Both teams are capable of winning, its gonna be who comes out and plays their game at their pace. If Grace can slow it down the will have the advantage. If Humboldt turns it into a track meet, they will have an advantage.

Better not play zone against Grace. They can shoot it. If Grace plays the way I saw them play today then they could get Racked tommorrow. I hope not though. I really enjoy watching these tournament games every season. I am going back to the Boro in the morning for some more exciting Rackball. Good luck Grace. Represent.

Everyone also said not to play zone against Cosby, and you saw what happened to them. They will mix it up on the defensive end though. Good luck Humboldt, keep it up.

From a neutral observer....

 

 

The two best teams in single A are Union City and Humboldt....hands down. They could probably compete in the AA bracket.

haha i have never heard anyone say cosby is quicker and better than Grace. Cosby played a cupcake schedule and got owned by a better team. I didnt see the game (stupid TSSAA) but i heard Cosby wasnt very good, which is one of two things and probably a combination of both.

1. Cosby just isnt that good

2. Humboldt just made them look alot worse than they really are.

RAW if you did not see the game you best keep quiet. Humboldt is outstanding and Cosby is a very good team. Grace must play better than they have at any time this season to have an opportunity of winning. Controling tempo will be key for Grace and that is what I would fault Cosby for not doing. Grace needs to keep the score in the forties.

      If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.

      You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
