Whats going on at Central

He has coached there for along time. He played at Carter where he has applied and been denied 3 times.

He would do a good job. I was surprised he never got the job at Carter.

This is not The National Security Council meeting in the basement of the White House and HTV is the only one allowed inside. I never claimed to be the only one "in the know", but I do know how the process works in Knox County. I've just seen very closely what one has to do to even become a candidate for a job in the system. There is protocol and proper channels that one has to go through, and there has to be a job open before that process can even begin. At this point there is not yet a job to be filled.

 

Aren't you in middle Tennessee? Glad you have so much knowledge on the happenings in North Knoxville and North Knox County from the middle part of the state.

 

Don't you have some new Gary Rankin rumor to run down?

I sit corrected, then. Of course, I only tend to try to be "in the know" on things that are important to what i'm directly involved with. No offense, but you aren't on that list of importance.

I'd be totally shocked if Julian leaves Halls for Central. The Halls program is turning the corner and the community is 100% behind him. He won't throw that away. Mcmillian is odds on favorite for the position but you never know who might step up and claim it.

 

Whatever happens in the future good luck to Joel Helton. He has molded some excellent teams and has been very successful. He has always been a difficult adversary for our Red Devils.

I seriously doubt Julian will leave Halls either but that is just what I heard. Maybe true maybe hogwash. Either way we would love to have him at Central, but McMillian I believe will be the man for the job. Rankin I dont think would apply at Central but I bet he is seriously thinking about Alcoa. Pay raise and he gets the smaller town he has been wanting for some time now.
