I agree, CAK has a strong senior class this year. Catholic also has a strong class with Joey Pierce and Doug Hall and Webb has Logan Threadgill. I think McMinn also has some good seniors, but I haven't seen them play yet.

Has Logan chosen a college yet? Isn't he a junior, though?

Logan is a great player from what I've seen of him. I also agree that both CAK and Catholic have strong senior classes. McMinn Co. also has a good duo with Kimball and Slack.

After playing against and guarding both logan threadgill and kimball i though that kimball was a better player. With the ball and without the ball he is formidable. Dont get me wrong logan and VERY quick and has great skills but kimball, in my opinion is better. However, im pretty sure logan is a junior and he with have one more year to improve...im sure he will.

TOP SENIOR?

Jared Zigler! The Keeper who sat behind Ryan Jenkins form Maryville for 2 years waiting for his chance to show his GREAT SKILLS! Started this season off great and is very talented. His high school career ended on Monday against Farragut, with 2 broken bones in his arm, such a shame to see his seaon go down.

Def. a TOP SENIOR that will lead his Maryville Team throughout this year!

GOOD LUCK

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Let's hope the backup can make some good performances in the District.

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
