If by seen him play you mean putting him on the ground while the offense puts up 63 points, than yes, ive seen him play. And as far as an explanation, its as easy as why eat liver when you can have a nice big t-bone. Smithson would be wasting his time at UTC because Fiegler is their man.

I agree. Feigler was not asked to read defenses at all. He simply threw to one guy. Smithson played in an offense that required him to read defenses and react accordingly with the ball. For that reason, he will have the advantage going into college. That will allow him to develop quicker in college.

I hope Fiegler does a good job because of where he signed. Just because either of them is a good player doesn't mean the other isn't, it doesn't have to be one is good-one is bad. Both signed 1-AA, and that's a lot harder than many people think when they just focus on SEC and Division 1-A conference football.

Indian and Wingman10 are exactly right! I too hope that both kids do very well and both are great players to be offered to play at that level. Sometimes I think people don't realize that ALL college football players at ALL levels are good and I-AA is excellent football. I am pulling for both young men. I have heard that both will red-shirt thier first year and then be a position to fight for the starting job as red-shirt freshman. It will be fun to watch.

The last I heard, Fiegler had not even qualified. That probably cost him a 1-A scholarship, hope he gets onto the field eventually for the Mocs.
