Hmmm... that says something in the A/AA world. I'll bet both were great games.

 

 

Yes and No. I felt like we (McMinn) played better against KC and had more chances to score, yet couldn't. Didn't play as well today, yet were able to finish one. Not to mention our goalkeeper played out of his mind. So I don't know if i would try to read too much into it.

As they've done throughout the weekend, the Brothers came out aggressively and scored an early goal to take a 1-0 lead. Over the course of the first half the Irish started to settle in and play started to even out. The half ended 1-0. Catholic got a goal about 8 minutes into the second half to even the score at 1-1 and the Irish looked like they were beginning to take over the match until CBHS scored off a corner several minutes later. With about 20 minutes to go one of the Christian Brother's mids scored on a beautiful shot from way, way out front and the Brothers tacked on another goal before game end.

 

All in all it was a very well played match. CBHS is a very good team.

 

I'm looking forward to the CAK v. Knox Catholic game on Friday night.
