Powell at Oak Ridge

Im not sure how Oak Ridge is doing but i heard they are pretty good. Powell has lost 2 in a roll and im sure that they are wanting that to stop. But i want to know who everyone thinks is gonna win this one?

Powell in an easy one. Oak Ridge can't line up. Just kidding, who knows. I believe that is why they play the game, unless it is a forfiet.

I think this could be a big game for a young Powell team to see how far they have come from last year. Karns has had a strong start to the season and have been the biggest surprise because I thought Oak Ridge would compete with Halls for the District honors and now I'm not so sure. If Powell beats Oak Ridge they will gain more confidence and be tougher to handle as the season unfolds.

 

The coaching at Powell has impressed me on their turnaround. I still think the Wildcats take this one in a very close game. Good luck to both teams.

Oak Ridge beat us 7-6, we pretty much beat ourselves tho we had about 8 or 9 errors we also had the bases loaded 2 times and only got 2 runs both times, and had to lead 6-5 going into the bottom of the 6th and we walked 3 batters in a roll to load the bases and they got the 2 runs they needed to get the 7-6 lead. Oak Ridge didnt make as many errors and came out with the win. Best of luck to you guys the rest of the season and we will see you the next time we play ya.
