who here has been to a race? specifics? (what track, year, event, winner of the race, experiences and such)

 

Charlotte once

Talladega once

Atlanta once(March race=COLD!)

Bristol night race in August three times (including the one where Dale Earnhardt spun Terry Labonte on the last lap to win! You should've heard the crowd BOO! If only everybody knew that not to far in the future Dale would be gone & we'd all miss him so much!)

Bristol night race is a real treat.Best race(s)/track I've been to hands down.

Squad you are right about the March race it is cold, and still don,t know why they call it the Atlanta race,it is held 30 miles south of Atlanta in Hampton Ga.?

Yeah,I guess in the "Atlanta" scheme of things it is still the Atlanta race.

Their Metropolitan area extends so far that a lot of things are considered "Atlanta" when they really aren't even close to what we would call Atlanta.

Then again,the "Nashville" race in the Busch series is held appx. 20-30 miles east of Nashville in Gladeville....

And that's "Nashville Superspeedway" which is no where near Nashville.

 

That's 20-30 miles away from the state capital,which they base all the mileage #'s on.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
