Given the TSSAA's decision to appeal the recent ruling in its case against Brentwood Academy, it's a shame another big change isn't being considered internally.

 

RC says, "It will one day end, but anyone who says that the TSSAA or Brentwood Academy will win, that's incorrect. Everybody's a loser in this deal. The only person who wins are the attorneys."

 

And yet, with the recent decision to appeal, the theory of cutting one's losses seems to have been thrown out the window. The attorneys have their cash cow in this one - at every member's expense.

the lawyer bills have already been run up tssaa has nothing to lose by pursuing the matter further.

 

if the quit now they are guaranteed to pay them if they appeal and win then there is still a chance BA will have to pay them

 

i see this being in court for a while to come maybe all the way to the supreme court since several state assocaitions have sided with the tssaa and would certainly file friend of the court type briefs in support
