I think Boyd and Hixson will come out of Chattanooga. Hixson trounced Boyd earlier this year however Boyd did not pitch their number #1. When they play again I expect the game to be closer.

I haven't seen all 2A teams play but I will predict Goodpasture to win AA State.

Goodpasture should make it to state, and Marshall county has a quality team that should make it. Winner will probably come from middle tennessee or chattanooga area

Unicoi County

 

Hixson

Boyd Buchanan

Goodpasture should make it to state, and Marshall county has a quality team that should make it. Winner will probably come from middle tennessee or chattanooga area

Don't ever count out Gibbs. Gibbs seems to always be playing their best ball in May.

So no one thinks Camden will make it or are they not 2A?

Over the last 20-25 years Camden has argueably been the most successful softball team on the west side of the river...but they very rarely ever get alot of publicity even though they have one of the most dominating pitching /catching combos in Hensley and Patterson that the west has seen in many years. Along with their perspective jobs on the mound and behind the plate, Patterson is the leadoff slap-hitter with an OB%> than .700 and Hensley is the clean-up hitter that can potentially put one over every at bat. The Lady Lions are very young...only 2 seniors on the squad and they aren't starters. Just think....as successful as they have been this season, how good could this club be next year when they return everyone and pick up an eighth grade class that has tremendous speed and dominating pitching! We in Benton co know what this group is capable of but we are very comfortable flying under the radar

Marshall County...state champs

Walker Valley....runner-up (moved up to AAA)

Gibbs

Creekwood

East Ridge

Covington

 

A couple of these may be somewhere close to the end but none of these will be in the finals this season.
