When I coached at East Ridge and we had track meets at CCS, I told our coaching staff that CCS could start a football program and be successful in Chattanooga in three to four years. They already draw the kind of athletes one needs to be successful and they are not as expensive as Baylor and McCallie. They should do well and if the pay is right, they should be able to get a good coach to build a program. The trick is hiring the right man!

BTW: I go to CCS if anyone ever wonders.

I believe this will increase our male enrollment too. It's somwhere between 60% to 40% (with more girls than guys) and 55% to 45%. I lot of athletes have probably been turned away because there was no football team. One concern that will have to be looked at is the seating. There is room for maybe 75 people. But that should be taken care of before too long.

Thanks to everyone for your support and I can promise you I won't be on the field. :thumb:
