putboobieincoach
I said the format stunk before all of this happened so it wouldn't sound like sour grapes since I'm a Harpeth fan. Creekwood would feel the same way Sycamore does right now if their fortunes were reversed. That's because the format stinks. It did from day one. Then, there's a winner take all first round region game that stinks too. It's really easy.....District regular season determines seeding for a double elimination district tournament. Top 2 go to a double elimination region tournament. Top 2 go to a double elimination state tournament. Winner has the best team with the deepest pitching staff. None of that is determined by the current format from the district on up. It stinks. Setting up a rotation for a double elimination tournament and the strategies involved are what make tournaments so much fun to watch. Having an automatic bid that's also involved in the tournament detracts from that. What happened to CW is human nature. They had a mulligan. In the end playing for pride and having all the Rocky music blaring in the background still wasn't enough motivation to overcome knowing they'd live to play another day regardless. It never is. Now they've got to try to regain the edge they had for a full regular season and lost in a week. That's a tough hill to climb, but I hope they can do it. Rewind the Rocky music........ ksgovols.... why dont u go on a different format since this one stinks so bad so we dont have to listen to your cryin. ksgovols
What happened to pride and determination and putting your best foot forward? CW lost twice as many district games in a week as they did all season. I think it's because they didn't have anything to play for. Hey, it was done fair and square. The coaches voted on it. It's just a lousy way to do things and your guys have just proved that. I said it before you did it though and that's what's got you ticked. Good luck on your region game. I'm not crying. Harpeth played their way in and had to go to your place to clinch it. I was waiting on the home field advantage angle. OOps! Sycamore Baseball 1
thiel could have just ran over knight and kneed him in the ribs or something but instead he stuck his hands out and braced for the impact and didnt hurt knight at all. knight was just a little mad at the play but as hot stick said he played the game the way its supposed to be played. I think if you did not do that on purpose then he would of not fallen and rolled on top of him. And as far as knight goes he was mad because your coach rodney keep running his mouth and thiel did that on purpose so knight could not have pitched the rest of the game. Only person that has any class to creekwoods team is bowers and he is the only standout ballplayer or athlete on the team. But it does not matter b/c your season is ending tomorrow night anyways. baseballfan1
No coach parker wasnt running his mouth. josh was over there runnin his mouth say houston did it on purpose and all coach p said was that he didnt do it on purpose. pretty funny you want say he did it on purpose but when it happened and josh tried to act like he was goin to do somethin bullard came over there and said to stop that he was in the base line and houston didnt mean to. and bout our season ending tomorrow. yea you are right it could end tomorrow but theres just as good of a chance that it wont but even if it does, it lasted one more game longer than yalls did. baseballfan1
Why would you rather be sittin at the house then playing another game? I mean you never know anybody could slip up beat a good team, even a team as bad as us.

putboobieincoach
who knows this "horrible" cw team might beat a good lexington team, but they probably still wont get any credit. people will start sayin lexington had an off day and that cw was lucky.
