Clayton Gant lost his first High school game Tuesday.

I found the web site that said the state record for consecutive wins is 27. I dont think it is correct. John Griffin played for Munford 88-91 and never lost a high school game. I will try to get exact number buy i pretty sure it was 35 or 36 and 0. He was however the 3 option on the team behind Aaron Fultz and Lonnie Glass, but finished with a win in the 91 title game. the web site in question only lists stats that are furnished to them by the schools or ind.

I thought Lonnie Glass (Munford) never lost a game while in HS. Randy Harrell or Rodney Patterson would know.

Lonnie lost 2 games sophmore year. never lost again

Unbelievable group- all patterson had to do in 91 was make a lineup out-

your right best hitting team i ever saw and 3 pitchers that were unbeatable and did go unbeaten. Aaron Fultz gave up first earn run on the season in regional title game against CBHS.

In 91 they played Germantown 1st game in regions and Ripley in the regional championship. Ripley defeated CBHS in first game of region. BUT- those 3 were dominating! Fultz could also drop a bunt down anywhere w/ 2 stikes on him and 2 outs and get on

I look for Clayton Gant to stretch his record to 27-1 tonight. Anyone that wants to see the most promising young pitcher from West Tn in quite some time should be in Union City tonight.

Clayton Gant is now 27-1. Maybe this is the start os another run. He pitched well last night vs. Gibson Co. I think he had 13K's on the night. Way to go Bruins. I wish a speedy recovery to Josh.

Good story by the Sun. Congrats to everyone with USJ on the win, but also congrats to GC for a great run this year. They had their opportunities to lay down, but they kept fighting all year. That's a testament to their character.
