Coniglio
oh I'm sure. all 4 of those. you guys have nothing to fear there. just looked at the performance list for West. results should be up soon but w/e you guys could run the mile... take a nice cat nap. get up and still win in the 2nd mile
thecrippler2222
yeah running distance in middle tennesse kinda stinks. anyone know if theyre running in the distance carnival yet?
thecrippler2222
it was great that the east section kind of closed the gap on the middle this year in distance but the west got even worse which i wasnt sure was possible but apparantly it is. the west needs to get better quick cuz its just unfair to the rest of the state for them to be going to state with times like these Boys 1600 Meter Run ======================================================================= Name Year School Finals Points ======================================================================= 1 Mckinley, Rodney 11 Frayser High 4:53.85 10 2 Wilkins, Kyler 11 Frayser High 4:54.02 8 3 Love, Charles 09 Trezevant 5:00.50 6 4 Massey, Fredrick 11 Trezevant 5:14.45 5 5 Cole, Mark 09 McKenzie High Sc 5:17.48 4 6 Reid, Justin 12 Jackson Christia 5:34.12 3 7 Alston, Andre 12 Dyersburg High S 5:43.21 2 8 powell, edward 09 Dyersburg High S 5:45.48 1 Boys 3200 Meter Run ======================================================================= Name Year School Finals Points ======================================================================= 1 Mckinley, Rodney 11 Frayser High 10:47.90 10 2 Kessler, Konner 09 Bolivar Central 10:52.58 8 3 Love, Charles 09 Trezevant 11:04.10 6 4 Garrison, Jeffrey Westw 11:30.50 5 5 Cole, Mark 09 McKenzie High Sc 11:37.50 4 6 McNabb, Joey 12 Fayette Academy 12:05.00 3 7 Massey, Fredrick 11 Trezevant 12:30.90 2 8 Alston, Andre 12 Dyersburg High S 12:53.29
Coniglio
I could have won the 3200 by too much time for a sectional and probably pulled out the 1600 too... with no foot speed. and I really stink.

Coniglio
but at least the top 2 were around 2:

stealthccrunner3200
that pisses me off. the rules pertaining to who gets to state should be realigned how bout take the top 8 times no matter what section. my entire distance team can run sub 4:53 and 10:
Coniglio
my entire distance team can run sub 4:53 and 10:47 I know The top 8 (There were probably more but that's all I can find in the results) are way ahead of this 10:47 (28 ticks or so). Then what scares me is the EAST (not dissing us we just aren't as good) has 7 under 10:47. And that was in a 30 MPH headwind/crosswind.
