TDCman
8/25 at McCallie. Compliments to both schools for giving their fans and players an opportunity to watch and participate in what should be a great game. Riverdale has nothing to gain scheduling a DII team except the satisfaction of playing a more competitive schedule. Both teams likely see this as a game that will help prepare them for a playoff run. It's a really good matchup.
Lost Old Dad
OK, so McCallie plays Alcoa with Rankin in week 0 and Riverdale in week 1. Gotta give it to them as they evidently are getting ready for something HARD! Look out D2! It will be a really good test of R'dale's secondary and to see how they respond to the test. wingman10
McCallie will be very good in 06. That is a tough schedule, playing Alcoa and Riverdale back to back.

wingman10
Whenever they play, it will be interesting. Am glad they are playing.
Chattcity
Traditionally I think McCallie starts a bit slow and gets better as the season progresses. This year, however, their offense is more experienced than prior years. This should be a good one for both teams Edited June 14, 2006 by Chattcity
TDCman
Of course, Riverdale has some very important business to take care of before taking on McCallie (like a hope region game gainst Siegel). It will be one advantage for Riverdale that they will have played one game already. It's always tough to be another team's home opener though. Lost Old Dad
They did against siegel. And ohio The game against Siegel last year was a good workout for the 'reserves'! The game in Ohio was a good test for the starters about how to beat a team AND the refs! I am willing to bet the game against Siegel this year will be a FULL workout for the starters! rollredroll
McCallie dropped Treadwell to play Riverdale after Ohio team dropped Riverdale to not get beat up on...congrats to both teams for not being afraid to play tough competition I'm surprised that the Riverdale fans haven't taken the Kilbourne fans to task more for their backing out. For all the high school football superiority Ohioans claim over most other states, Kilbourne's reneging on the return game to Riverdale doesn't necessarily look good.
