Houston Co. Player Passes Away

A 17 year old Football player died last week. He had asthma problems, but the heat may have been a factor. Details are a lil shadowy right now, sorry. But keep his family in yall's prayers...

This is tragic news that seems to be occurring much too often during summer workouts and fall camps for all states high school football athletics.

Detrell Conyers was the kids name, may everyone keep him in their prayers. My details aren't confirmed, but I know that he had some trouble at practice/workouts and died at the hospital of a heart attack.

He was at practice when the complications began, after that he went to the hospital. I believe that he was training when it happened, not lifting.

Hes younger brother goes to Waverly Central. I played abll against him when I was a Freshman. The kid is a stnad up youg man, and so is is brother. His borther talked abut him all the time...prayers are still being sent out. May he rest in peace

Detrell Conyers was goin to be a senior next year was at practice then had an asthma attack in which the coach drove him to the hospital where he had a heart attack staurday was the funeral. He was a good friend to and he was a great player Stewart County Rebs And Caleb Austin will pray for the family and friends.
