Davidson Academy will run away with the state AGAIN!!! Their closest game came in the semis of the state playoffs. They won that one 20-14. Their next closest game was to Bishop Byrne who they beat to win the regular season like 27-7. DA then went on to beat Bishop Byrne AGAIN in the state championship by 21 points. Bishop Byrne had been in the state championship game for 4 straight years and had won the last 3 state championships. So, as you can tell, my vote obviously goes to DA!!! It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they went undefeated again in the region.

No one likes St. George's? Coach Netherland made Germantown a 5 A power and took a no talent, young, mini team to six points to the state champs. Got to give them a little credit for this year...
