He has been the Offensive Coodinator for the past 10 seasons at Boyd and has been at the school for 11 years....

 

He has been the Defensive Coordinator at Boyd.......Coach Fant who played at Vanderbilt is and has been the Offensive Coordinator.

 

Coach Akin is going to Ringgold high school in Catoosa County, GA to teach PE and coach Girls Basketball.

Coach Reynolds will do a good job being Head Coach. I always saw him being the next coach at Boyd while I was student there. Him and Coach Fant will do good with the offense and defense. I'm ready for this season to start not much longer to go.

 

I am also kind of curious about Coach Akins and Basketball. Does he have a history with basketball or something I don't know about?

I don't think he's ever coached Basketball, but maybe somebody verify that...

ER O line will be improved from last year though. Marion is the second best team in all of 2A imo behind ER and ahead of Huntingdon.” As I said in the ER thread. Huntingdon physicality could make problems for Marion if they do meet in the state championship. ER does still have more speed than Marion as of now. I’m gonna go watch the highlights of the two transfers and get back to yall and see if my perspective has changed.
