true that center68...

riverdale's d-line is gonna be absolutely phenomenal this year...all the starters returning to the exact same position coaches they've had in years past.

by the way primetime, i believe that in '01 the ooltewah team claimed that they were superior to riverdale at every position...i should know, because i was part of the team that drummed you guys 35-7 in front of your home crowd. i hope that their d-line is better than it was then.

i suppose you had a good view from the bench huh?

Top DL's in the mid-state, at least:

Goodpasture

Riverdale

Whites Creek

I also think <a href='http://www.coacht.com/inside/team.cfm?SchoolID=37&SportID=1' target='_blank'>Brentwood Academy</a>'s, LaVergne's, and maybe even Page, will have among the best in the mid-state.

I'm sure there are others that will be good as well.

riverdale has it hands down

whites creek not even close

lavergne lost there entire d-line so i dount that very seriously

not sure about goodpasture or ba dont know much about them

Jackson South Side has the best d-line ine west tn. don't know much about middle are east tn. There DT's are both seniors and there DE's 1 is a senior 1 is A junior the DT's are 6'6 315 and 6'1 215 DE's are 6'1 220 and 6'2 200

Are you sure about that? Sounds like you will have a big D-Line with some experience possibly, but the best in the West??? I can think of several other teams that will likely have less points scored against them with very tough opponents:

Melrose

MUS

Ridgeway

JCM

Henry Co.

I would say Riverdales is gonna be pretty good returning all the starters from last years D-line.

And I hope Ooltewahs d-line its better than the one in 2001 that said they were one of the best ever because we went down to Ooltewah and just flat out embarassed that d-line. I am speaking of the Riverdale-Ooltewah semi-final game that ended 35-7 and King ran for about say 220 yards and like 2 or 3 touchdowns.

It wasn't the 2001 D-line, it was 2002. Yes, it was the same guys but they were all juniors that year... Matherson, Ryan Cambell, Meredith Cambell, Zane Rce, John Robbs, and I'll go ahead and throw in Zach Sanders. There's a reason why they made it all the way the the Semi's. I remember Stump (a local legand who has being following high school football for a very long, long time) say it was the best D'line he'd ever seen. This was the 2002 team.

Well Guys,

From last week's jamboree & last night's game, just hide & watch our D-line for the Henry Co. Patriots. Yes, I'm very aware we didn't win last night, but it wasn't due to the lack of skills on our D-line! We're gonna give'm all a run for their money this year!
