What does Tyner run on offense & defense?

I will go by my thinking, if it isnt correct someone please feel free to correct me.

The defense is usually a 5-2. Team speed is always a factor with the DB's and usually putting alot of pressure on the quarterback with linebackers.

The offense is a splitback or offset I or wing. Shotgun is also used. Tyner usually has multiple backs to create confusion even on normal running plays. Plus that sets up the playaction pass which is usually 6 for the Rams!

Thats all the information I am legally allowed to give out

...Tonight it was no contest...First of all I applaud the Scott Co. coaching staff for driving 3-plus hours(260 miles) to a scrimmage game...I hope they have a safe drive home...

...The Final score was "RAMS"-7, Scott-1...Seven(7) different players scored a touchdown(#86, #28, #20, #15, #25, #5 & #22)...Scott was not able to generate any type of drive...the RAM "D"(1st string) only gave up one 1st down, Scott scored the only TD at the end and when Scott drove inside the 10-yard line, the Goal Line "D" prevailed...Tyner used five(5) different QB's...I don't think anybody was seriously hurt so it's on to McMinnville against Warren Co. and Ezell Harding ;)

Sounds like a good showing for Tyner.....

My hats off to tyner they played great tongiht but the Scott D had them on 3rd and 4th down mutlitpy times and gave up big plays. Tyner was very fast and strong. Both teams were very physical but tyner just had to much speed and scotts O didnt move the ball like they should but it was a good scrimage for scott getting used to playing the speed tehy will be playing aginast AE and Fulton.

the 3rd and 4th down big plays are something that comes very often for the Rams. There were so many times that Tyner were 3rd and 4th down last year and made huge plays. That is where the team speed helps.

Thanks to Scott County for driving this far for a scrimmage. I enjoy seeing new teams as much as possible. I was very impressed with the blocking last night. The O line had a few mistakes, however when they were blocking there were holes I might have been able to drive through. We look to be loaded with athletes again, we have a few areas to improve in and we will be just fine. For an early scrimmage there were several huge hits. The block that the lineman put on what I believe was a line backer during one of the QB scrambles, and the sack that Scott County had from the linebacker positions were the 2 huge ones that I remembered.

Hope to see some more of what I saw last night Friday night against Hixson.

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
