hey everybody guess what...Baylor plays a real opponent this week....so this makes two games this season with a good opponent...Brentwood and now MUS...i hate it how baylor schedules really bad teams in the area...blows them out and then talks about how great they are...brentwood has been the only good team on your schedule thusfar, and you lost 28-7...MUS is going to put the hurting on Tyler Massey, and Kevin Cooper...then after all that's said and done...the big blue is just gonna come in an clean up the mess

you obviously dont know what your talking about because they super seven opponents are rotated every couple of years so we dont have control if we play father ryan or not. And also it league games dont matter its if your record is over 500%. Good job just another Mccallie fan opening his mouth about something he doesn't know about. oh yeah and it was baylor 22-20 in the MUS game

I'm sure that the win against MUS will be a big confidence booster for Baylor. The game between Baylor and McCallie will be a great one. McCallie must remember that Baylor totally shut down BA's passing attack. I believe their QB was 3 for 9 that game. Can't wait for this one.

i'd say its pretty easy to "shut down" a passing attack if they only throw the ball 9 times...McCallie throws the ball half the time...and we don't even hafta talk about how good BJ is, just ask Tennessee...

wow the fact that you guys are debating this is mindboggling!!!! this year is the ninth year in a row that McCallie will stomp alll over the red raiders....i mean the last time baylor won the Spice Girls were popular....nuff said dont even waste your time McCallie is too good to even argue this one

Isn't this the main reason that Baylor got a new coach?

what do you mean...they got a new coach so they could beat us? that makes sense, but the last time i checked Potter was the best coach in Chattanooga...and he seems to know how to get it done against baylor...i heard that last year at halftime when baylor was leading 17-7 Coach Potter made very few changes...and led them out to finish the game 42-17....i don't know much about Coach Massey and everything i've heard has been good...but i still don't see him measuring up to Coach Potter

As the late great Yo Strang would warn you McCallie boys at this point, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall" Proverbs 16:18. For you Baylor boys, Proverbs is reference to a section of a book called the Bible. The book used to be found on the Baylor campus several administrations ago. Understand Bill Stacy is attempting to reintroduce it.

mcc coming of a heartbreak loss, baylor a big win.. ..this is not good for red raiders.

mccallie - as much as they want

baylor - as much as mccallie is willin to give em

That may be true. Then again, McCallie racked up nearly 500 yards of total offense and lost. If the defense shows up it should be a "cake walk." That's a big "if"........

I find this statement to be a bit odd. You are quoting the word of God and using it to demean Baylor students. Isn't that somewhat strange? What about the verse that says no unwholesome talk should come out of your mouth, only that which is good and used for edification of others.

Your attempt as sarcasm is recognized but I doubt Yo Strang would be proud of you.

Yet again, uncfan13. You make McCallie people look "holier than thou". Well done! :thumb:

    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
    • If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
    • I say over as well. Barney, regarding the move to 4A, will the cross-town blowhards move up as well??
