Temple at Lookout Valley...this game is gonna be crazy and someones gonna get hurt and it isnt going to be me because im too strong for this crap...Lookout Valley went through too much this summer and we are too close to lose any this year..I can speak for everyone on the team when I say we wont lose to Temple and the only team we would accept losing to is SP.

Whatever dude. If you're not careful you are the one that is going to get hurt. I've been following Temple sports for over 30 years and I have to tell you it will be a crazy game but LV will come out on the short end of the stick.

Even though my favorite team is in this region I don't think this is the biggest game even in 1A. I think in 1A possibly the biggest game is the Lake County/Union City game. The winner of it could go on to with that region.

Well the Temple-LV game, i think, is huge. I mean the winner of this game pretty much has the second place seed sewn up, giving them home field advantage in the 1st round of the play-offs. Plus, whoever gets the 2 seed has a MUCH beter chance of avoiding a match-up with Friendship or Trousdale in the first round..... Also, the Cosby-Cloudland game is pretty big.

That is true. However, I think a battle that will be for #1 is bigger than a battle for #2. Even though the winner of the Temple/LV game could still have a chance to unseat the Pirates (anything is possible) they still also have to get by the rest of the region. Whitwell will probably pose the biggest threat for that #2 spot though. Good luck to both Temple and Valley in the game tonight. I'll be waiting to hear the score and a run down of what happened when it is over.

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
