Top QB's in Chattanooga

Well when you have receivers as talented as he does, all you have 2 do is get them the ball in a short pattern & let them get the yards(which is basically the deal). Dont get me wrong, Jake does make some good throws & some good reads, but give credit where credit is due. I mean 5yd catches turn into long TDs. I hope he does continue 2 do some things he's doing but maybe tweak a few because when RB faces some better defenses than those of "soddy & central" they sure will need some good performances out of Jake.

agreed

I don't think anybody is arguing with BJ when they mention another QB. BJ Coleman is the best Quarterback in the Chattanooga area. That doesn't mean all others are not good. There are other good ones such as Ledbetter (RB) and Wilson (Rhea).

I find it wierd to say Ledbetter isn't good b/c he just throws short passes to great receivers. That is what many, many offenses at all levels are designed to do these days. You still have to make the reads and complete the pass.

BJ Coleman is incredible!

Jake does not have a strong arm at all. He throws short passes and his receivers get him his yards. BJ runs circles around him!

I agree with you a 100% but you cant totaly knock him because stats are stats and he is doing good this year and he is get n the W's. Last year i think he finished with around 1300 yards after 12 games and he is almost at 700 this year only played 4 games so far

No offense, but Ledbed has not played anybody yet.. they are 4 and 0 against teams with a combined record of 2 and 16.. the only team with a win has two and was a one point win over Austin East. Dont get me wrong Red Bank is one of the 5 best teams in this area but Ledbed's stats have not come against comparible competition to Coleman's.. Coleman has rocked Riverdale and Brentwood Academy's (two of the most dominant programs in the state of Tennessee's history) secondaries, not to mention running some keepers on them successfullyas well..

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
    • It seems we lost a ton to graduation. We shall see how it shapes up for 2024.
