East Robertson at Forrest

forrest has showed me alot this year. i think forrest wins. tico hopefully will be stopped or atleast slowed down and forrest takes it. go rockets

East Robertson:

- Tico Andrews( main weapon for East and biggest worry for opponents)

- He lines up at QB and at RB, so u have to defend him 2 different ways!

- Defense is alot weaker this year, but they are improving every week.

- Desmond Payne had 15 tackles against Harpeth, he is also a Big RB.

- Injuries have plagued East, and they have alot of guys out for the season or long parts of it.

 

Forrest:

- Dominique Johnson is the main weapon at RB, pretty small but very quick, and knows how to break tackles.

- Forrest does have a descent passing game to helpt Johnson out, so u must be honest w/ them

- Forrest has a great O and D line and could control the line of scrimmage

- Secondary is young, but surprisingly experienced and pretty good.

Yeah Tico is our main weapon and the biggest worry on that part. Your right about the defence this year to, we were weaker in the beginning but i think by time the Jo Byrns and Goodpasture game get here we'll be ready to go!!! East has 5 injuries right now that really hurt us in some way. 3 of them are 2-way starters. Luke Kemp (OL, DL) and Dan Griffith (OL) both are out with leg injuries for the season so that really kills us. Me (SS/FB) Steven Rich (FS/FB) are out for at leas another week, I'll be out for at least one more week and Steven is out probably for the rest of the season and then last week at Harpeth, Anthony Coffee (WR/CB) tore a muscle in his leg so he'll be out for a week or 2 so East are really plauged by injuries right now and to make things worse 3 are Seniors. Being my Senior year im just ready to get back on the field and play some high school football. But i'll be on the sideline rooting my team on and i look forward to seeing a good one!!! I'm not going to pick a winner but i think Friday at around 10 we will know and all the talk will be over with. Good luck to all Forrest players and fans!!!

I really am not sure about that pick, but I honestly think the game will be that close. My reasoning for this score is that East's kicker is hurt, and the new kicker isnt great and will prolly miss at least one!

 

I think a highscoring game is better for East, so if it becomes a shootout, then East will probably win.

Forrest returns almost everybody from last year. The QB is much improved. Johnson the RB is one of if not the best in Region 5. 2 good full backs that can interchange. The O nad D line are big and hit. Good secondary too. Talked to some how say Tico is East's (is that right? some english teacher help) only weapon. I will be in Chapel Hill and a LONGGGG ride fro east. The score was 7 to 6 at half last year. I have to give the edge to Forresy. Their on a roll. 21-17.

 

Yeah well you can't really help it when you have a D-1 athlete on your team and can really do whatever he wants to do on the field with his skills. We have alot of recievers that have really stepped it up this year and others that haven't had that much playing time in the past. Marcus Rembert, junior, had over 150 recieving yards in the 1st game of the season, Anthony Coffee, senior, hasn't had that many passes thrown his way but he is tall physical reciever that can really get the job done, Nick Kahn, senior, is a 1st year player in high school, played in junior high but really athletic guy that can get the job done, Rusty Dearmon, senior, is a big reciever that is physical and gets it done out there on the field. Then Desmond Payne, senior, has had a shoulder injury but he is almost back to 100% and is really quick. So no Tico is not our only weapon, he just does so much that he is the only one that really stands out, so go ahead and just prepare for him then someone else is going to catch you off guard!!!

Clay Head was Jo Byrns high school! Not takin anything away from him at all cause he was a great player in all 3 sports??? So if Kurt is as good as Clay then why isn't he all in the press??? I don't have a problem with him at all, but when someone gets on here telling me to watch out, i have a problem with that...and yeah last year we talked stuff about playing yall and beating yall but have yall heard anything from anyone this year??? NO!!! We are just exited to play yall like every year because i mean it is one of the best rivals in the state! But anyways we'll worry bout Forrest and when yall get here, we'll be ready and yall will be to, and Tico, yeah you have to stop him 1st!!!
