Woowee...sure is a long drive B)

Camden finally got their offense clicking with an impressive running game against Stewart co. Since Lewis co got 348 yds against the Mustangs and the Lions gained 150 more yards on the ground against Stewart co than Lewis co did when they played them, I'm going to assume that it'll be another big night for the boys in the backfield for Camden and if Camden can contain Buttram and the passing game it'll be a long night for Loretto.

Hard to make a prediction cause I think it'll be another whenever Ward calls off the dogs kind of night. :)

Did I say it sure is gonna be a looooong drive? :)

I'll say one thing to you fine Camden folk. If Coach Ward doesn't have the thrid team in by the third quarter, expect Loretto to blast him at the end of the game for "running the score up on them." We played freshmen almost the entire fourth quarter and they scored twice which led to the dreaded charge of we ran the score up on them!

Their quarterback is a good scrambler and they have one good receiver...pretty one dimensional. They can't stop the run so you should win handily. Have a safe trip, I know it's a long one.

Do you know what the seating is like? We have a huge following, just wondering if we need to start tailgating around noon Friday?

Who wins this game? I have seen loretto play and they are horrible. Camden will kill loretto all they have to do is run the ball. Loretto can't stop anyone and they sure can't stop anyone. It's really sad to see Loretto football in this condition b/c i know how they used to be. This team won't get any better for a long time b/c there sure needs to be some changes.

Camden: 49

Loretto: 7

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
