i will agree with camden and lewis county but i think sc is pretty good i know what you guys are going to say they got ran by lewis and camden but they have a good D and its really young

Good D!?! They gave up close to 100 points in two straight games! And the other two teams they played were bottom of the barrel 1A squads! And according to some of my friends on Camden's squad, you guys have decent size, but you are not physical at all!

:P:) Camden 1st,Waverly 2nd,LC 3rd,the rest are not worth a plug nickel.

Waverly over Lewis?

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if it is wrong or stupid, but let me read off some facts to enlighten your mind. While Waverly, to me, has a good defense without question; it really does not compare to Camden or Lewis County. Your defense has given up atleast 50 points while Lewis has only had 21.You lost to Hickman County in a thumping 28-0, we beat Hickman County 14-7. You defeated Houston County by 7. I bet we beat them by 40.

I have learned through out the years that you can't compare scores to determine outcomes of future games. Yes, Waverly has allowed 41 points in 4 games. 28 came to Hickman County in the first game of the year for Waverly. Hickman County did have a game under it's belt. Hickman County scored a late touchdown against our subs. They were passing with 8 minutes to go when Coach Graves already had put some subs in trailing 22-0. Houston County scored 6 of their points on turnovers deep in Tiger territory. The other 7 came with Waverly playing prevent at the end. Any way. I don't know who's defense is the best this year. We have to wait until the year is over to determine.

LC beats Waverly. I'd wouldn't mind it being the other way around, but honesty is the best policy.

    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
