RHSfan
Alex Hall from Harriman gets my vote. He is a very skilled catcher. Watch for him the next couple of years!
DBichettefan
caleb joseph is a great emerging player, but his arm is his weakest link at this point, but no doubtedly it will improve, hes a good kid, but others love the game just as much, im anxious to see what kind of season he has
jedidiahphil2
I think you should watch out for sophomore catcher Matt Morris at Sweetwater. With his big Defense and capability of hitting over .400 he's worth keeping an eye on!
elitecat13
I think the best sophomore catcher is Matt Morris from Sweetwater. As a freshman he started over 15 games and really stepped up his game in the second half of the season. He has a good arm and his bat is coming around. I look for this year to be his break out year, now that he will be the lone catcher.
jedidiahphil2
Mason from Meigs has a great arm, but you need more than that to be the best in the state! I'm not taking any credit from him, but you need great defense and a preety good bat to be the best. And your all right, he does have a freakin cannon! luvsports
Alex Hall from Harriman is somebody to watch. Not only is he a highly skilled catcher, but he is a GREAT hitter. I watched him play in a tourney this summer and all he hit was triples. He is a very strong hitter and an amazing baserunner besides being an awesome catcher. I also hear that he has the attitude and the heart to go with the talent.

Ultimatefan
Alex Vaughn from soddy daisy is a great player. He can hit with some power and will probably bat at the 4 or 5 spot. I thought Ryan Headen of boyd was a jr?
Fanatic15
I think yall should be talkin about Brad Loy from Ooltewah. Kid is an awesome catcher. He caught for the future major leauger Adam Howard and gunned down tons of people this year ..not to mention the out that boosted his team to state. wtaylor
Kyle Deering of Macon County has to be one of the top sophomore catchers in the state. He hit over .300 as a freshman, and has hit the weights during the offseason. He has great knowledge of the game.
