Probably because GC is so bad that they can't even line up. This is coming from a former Pioneer here.

ETA: Just talked to the TSSAA office...they did forfeit the game.

Gibson is horrible this year but fayette ware played either one or two ineligable players in this game.....thats why they forfeited the game

Thats a shame because that player didnt get in until the 4th quarter when the game was out of reach. Plus he hasnt even played in another game since then.

What is the rule on 8th graders in football...I know in baseball an 8th grader can play?

i thought that unless the school itself is like a bruceton or usj/jcs school...in that i mean the high school is on the same grounds as the middle schools the kid can play...i dont know what the school is like in FW but thats what ive heard....i could be wrong....i understand thats the rules (if thats right) but in a game like that i dont see why it matters....
