Silverdale vs. Temple

Silverdale (2-4) goes up against Temple (5-0) .

What are your thoughts and predictions for this Class A, Region 3 match-up?

Temple by 40.

This will be just the second region game for Temple and it is an important game, winning this game basically guarantees a playoff spot and that is important. I talked with some of the players and coaches for Temple and they seem a little ticked off about this Silverdale game. Evidently a little bit of trash talking has been going on by the Silverdaled coach and it has gotten back to the coaching staff and to the players. I hope that this guy hasn't put his team in a tough situation. Temple is playing well, and I think that this game is important, leading in to the two biggest games of the year, that being Whitwell and South Pittsburg. I hope that Temple comes out Friday night and makes a huge statement. Go Crusaders!

Silverdale has played well the last two weeks, lost by 6 to Lkt Valley then won at Sequatchie. Their running game can take a lot of time off the clock, getting 4 and 5 yards and just moving the chains. They don't have a lot of speed and I think will have trouble guarding the receivers/backs in the passing game. 35-14.

Our coach has not been talking trash. The only thing he told us is that we need to go out and play hard and beat you guys. He said we should not let the fact that Temple recruits QB's to be an excuse. We just need to go out and play hard with what we have. He told us there is nothing we can to about other teams recruiting, they will get caught for what they are doing.

Well I tell you what have your coach call TSSAA and ask them if our QB is eligible or legal. Better yet, I bet your coach doesn't want to call TSSAA because his name has already been brought up to them several times over recruiting allegations and he hasn't even been there a full year. I mean after all he was the greatest recruiter the North Georgia area had ever seen. What your coach did say was that Seth Skogen was not a good defensive player, and that Josh Smith is slow and there is no way he can play in college. If that is not talking junk about another team I don't know what is. Just go ask your coach if he said those things and see if he admits it. By the way I hope you all try to run at Seth Skogen and Josh Smith all night because it will not work, and if you try to run the other way Colton Brown and Kameron Ridley will be waiting. That's all i have to say abou tthat.

That wasn't the trash that I had heard at all...so that is new crap coming out of that man's mouth (maybe he is trying to make excuses for losing)... but thanks for adding fuel to the fire!!!

I am sorry if that makes you mad. We respect Temple and I don't think our coach said that. He is a great guy and I don't believe he would do anything wrong. I have said it before, people want to play for a winner and that is why they are coming here to play for coach Allen.
