i wanna know who will guard smyrnas wr's..we all know riverdales dbs cant guard..the qb from mccalie showed that..and sonny is just as good if not better than them..and i hope that yall blitz from everywhere..bc ur leaving 1-1 with wilks..and neither one of ur 5'8 corners can guard 6'2 wilks and 6'3 torres..so have fun riverdale..but b prepared..smyrna's go ur number..and what coach a said after the wc game on tv was totally UNSPORTSMAN like..so if u wanna talk about that..and i hope he is getting yall ready! bc they will stop thomas..they have been using someone in practice to simulate him..who is faster and morer athletic than he is..and that line..i personally grew up with sprulock..and he is soft like always!

coach t is a joke....people try riding a teams nuts then they turn around and say something about that team....its high school football just let them play on friday nights..there is no need for yall to start problems....both teams are really good....smyrna congradulations...riverdale congradulations....but this is turning into a T.O. and McNabb story just alot of talk.....OK good for sonny gray he can throw a football to his big wide outs....we are proud of him all im sayin is if the so called "SMALL" riverdale DB's get in Smyrna's stuff....then what you going to say....oh um.....Sonny was sick......he wasnt feeling good......its the same with Riverdale except i hear more talk coming from smyrna then i do riverdale...is it cause smyrna finally thinks they have a chance to win a tough region game for once....well...its not going to be a shut out...we know that....but its not going to be an ###### kicking either!!

Riverdale I honestly don't believe thinks that at all.

 

I can only hope riverdale folks are telling them every minute how they own smyrna and how they are undefeated in the region for ever etc etc etc

I think you're out of luck, son. There is NO WAY that Smyrna can keep their collective mouths shut for two weeks. I have too much experience on coachT with Smyrna posters. Some fool will get on here and say something really stupid like, "We'll score 30 points on Riverdale- they haven't seen a passing attack like ours". Actually I think someone already said something to that effect, bragging about the QB.

 

And unless you're 12 or 13 Riverdale hasn't dominated 5A your whole life. We didn't have 5A until '93.

Not a single player had even started grade school last time gallatin did anything

smyrna has dealt with gallatin beating them 2 times in a row

 

with win number one being a forfeit when gallatin got caught cheating

 

and even after that they had the chance to beat an awful team and still get int the playoffs and what did they do ---- nothing but quit they talked all week about how "mad" they were but as you say and may I quote

and the second time that Smyrna team you say hasn't done anything beat them like a rented mule at Gallatin in front of all those people with their 1992 letter jackets on that for some reason were pretty smug and obnoxious at kick

off on the visitors side but by the 4th quarter the ones that were still there got quite

 

 

why don't you come back when your boys have done something instead of arguing for a team tha gallatin couldn't carry their jock strap (historically or chamionship speaking).

 

I see why you stalk riverdale so much they actually have players that have played in and been part of a state chamionship.

 

so once again remind everyone when gallatin backed up anything because no one on the teams now could read at the time and a few from gallatin still can't

yea like gallatin has done anything lately

smyrna has? seems to me, yall have done alot of UNDERachieving. yall have had the "TEAM" to beat riverdale the past 2 years, and not only has riverdale slaughtered you guys TWICE the past 2 years, but yall have also had losses to other region opponents from wilson county over that stretch. of course, you would like to bring up your excuse "THIS IS NOW, WE DONT CARE ABOUT THE PAST." but, you brought up gallatins past and your record over them so i would like to remind you of exactly what smyrna has done. smyrna plays for 2nd place every year, and usually ends up falling short of that to 3rd

 

your theory about "riverdale doesnt even think this will be a close game," is EXACTLY right, atleast about how this riverdale fan feels. i thought smyrna would have it turned around this year, be more disciplined and more consistant with some of this new staff brought in, shadowens sure does let those boys slack off. havent been worried a bit about smyrna since i saw them with my own eyes against blackman, playing with no intensity at all

 

so yea, quote all the phrases from that like you've been doing, matter of fact, print them off and put them in shadowens face and see what he has to say. he'll dispute it of course (like any sore loser would do), but he would have to accept it as it is nothing short of the truth...you know it as well as i do but dont like admitting your teams faults and often shortcomings. keep putting faith in shadowens and see if you ever taste success past the 1st round of the playoffs
