its really sad but i still havent missed a game

so i just hope that people will still show up for these next 3 home games

As of now, we have about 12 freshman suited up on the varsity roster

Heard a rumor that CHS lost one of it's LB/RB due to a broken leg in the Dickson Co game. True? and who was it - heard also this player was a real motivated tough kid that was the guy on both sides of the ball that tried to keep everyone pumped during the games.

 

Hope if this is true the young man is OK.

Very sad, even more so to the fact that this was his senior year. The good news is that some of the players said that Clay has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home. Best wishes to him and his family.

Bsst of luck to this young man. Hope to see CHS rally around this injury and step it up - similar to UT and the Harrellson / Johnson injuries.

a tall(6'7") and strong armed kelly could spark this centennial offense

Are we talking a 40 or 50 point spark because the defense will allow that much or more against Ravenwood. But Ill take it as a victory if they can score before the last couple minutes of the game.

The one thing thats killing the Centennial D is the short passes. Our Db's drop deep and our LB's all blitz, meaning the middle of the field is wide open. When the other team airs it out we've been able to stop them. Centennial needs to run a few man to man formations or have the linebackers spy the QB.

Centennial is NOT going to beat Ravenwood. Book it.

 

Last I checked, our deep passes KILLED Centennial. They're beyond help.

 

Losing the heart of their defense and arguably their team doesn't help much either.

 

Plus, Ravenwood needs every win for the playoffs and they're a team that doesn't fool around in games like this. Ravenwood is a few bad breaks away from being at the top of the region with Indy and Dickson.

Update on the Centennial LB situation; players telling me that either Evan Gatchell or Drew Kelly could play at LB in place of Ingram. Also, Clarence Hardison will be back in the lineup for this game.
