coach_d
This is my first year out of high school, and I often find myself repeatedly talking about past game experiences, and I would like all of the former players to let me know if this ever goes away or not. What do I have to look forward to in the future? Feel free to share stories of your glory days, too. Just have fun with this topic. Go Crazy. Gerry Bertier
I am 4 years out of high school and it still hasn't gone away. I can recall every play from my senior year and tell you the score of every game. I guess it is because I miss it.

That's part of the reason I got into officiating...I just love those Friday nights.

I appreciate the concern, but I've already weighed the goods and the bads. The good greatly outweighs the bad. As far as you Lard Bowl, that is a great idea. I would personally love to dress out and go toe to toe with all of the alumni. Another funny thing is that I am planning on trying out at every walk on even if they tell me to stop coming. I just want the chance to dress out and play some football.
Bonestrojan
16 years since I strapped on the pads and I can still smell the musty smell of the locker room. When it gets in your blood I guess it never leaves. I've often thought of finishing my degree in education just so I can coach.
