After the last 2 weeks, I can assure you that Central will not take anybody lightly for the rest of the season. But I can also assure you that there is no chance for an upset this weekend.

The best team in the state didn't score 50 on Central. I don't think they have to worry too much about it happening against SD.

I think the Bobcats will be mad and hungry to dish out some pain. Cherokees just happen to be in the way of the Red & Black monster. Central back on track this week and will stop the bleeding big time.

Why is there even a thread on this one? Cats should roll big. After two consecutive losses, I see the "Kees" as a region tune-up to the much awaited game between the Cats and Powell Panthers the following week.

 

And don't worry about the Kitty Cats overlooking this game.

I think the Kees are in a really bad spot right now. They may be improving, but they are catching Central at the wrong time. The Bobcats really need a shot of confidence after the last two weeks. They are absolutely going to hammer SD. Coach Helton will get these guys some confidence by keeping his foot on the gas on both offense and defense and not letting up. Obviously, if it gets too lopsided, the reserves will get in, but he will press the players hard this week.

 

My guess: Central by 35.

No, the reason Maryville didn't score 50 was that they turned the ball over 4 times (lucky for us)

OOC- how is Central beating South Doyle going to help you guys? From looking at the remainder of your schedule, it seems like the game Friday (vs. Powell) will decide if you guys are in or out. Just wondering.
