dubc....could you sort of give me your opnion of how you think this game will go after seeing and playing both OHS and Lebanon??

sorry 2p. i hadnt been on in a couple days. im tired of gettin dogged out in our other thread!..lol...seriously i see you guys winning this one...just show up ready to play with the same type of intensity you did against us and you shouldnt have any problems. ya'll are alot more fundamentally sound and seem to be a tougher team than they are. we actually moved the ball against them (a little bit...lol). against ya'll we couldnt get nothing! good luck.

What a doozy.

My boys (Lebanon) against the boys I cheer for when they aren't playing my boys (Oakland).

When these two teams meet, it's always a great game. I haven't gotten to see Oakland yet, but from what I have heard and read they are solid.

Lebanon is a maddening team to watch, because they can be very, very good at times and play atrociously at others. If LHS can establish the run early, they will have a good shot at winning, I do believe.

The strength of the Blue Devils is the defense, and I feel pretty confident that it will be a low scoring game.

It's a shame that one of these squads might miss the playoffs, because with all due respect to Blackman, the Patriots and the Devils are two of the four best teams in this region.

I'll be down on the Gulf doing hurricane relief, so unfortunately I'll miss this one. But best of luck to both teams, and Go Big Blue!

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
