Why doesn't someone ask Robert Sharp why his felines refuse to engage Fairview?

This region is worse than any Little Orphan Annie League I have ever seen. If Camden and Louis County played in our region, they wouldn't make the playoffs!

If Waverly was in our region..... dead last!!

Listen to' em already. LC and Camden would be top 3 in your region. LC and Camden would be in the top 3 in any 2a region. Go back to the 5-AA threads. You're just mad about the whippin Fairview got 2 years ago at home in the playoffs.

Everyone please forgive this fool, for he does not know anything about the region we play. Plus he just likes to get on people's nerves.

As I recall the series is a little lopsided between the Panthers/Yellow jackets . I know for a fact that the Panthers lead the series. Also, MeanJean, I think I grew up swearing at your posts. The nonsense that Lewis County and Camden wouldn't make the playoffs is a little far fetched for the sound of mind. The sad thing is, that your region will split or even go 1-3 against our region in the playoffs. Fairview beat Hickman County by a touchdown, also while we did the same, we dominated them for the entire game on DEFENSE. Something that Fairview knows nothing about since they give up 62 against Goodpasture team.

In my opinion, we just need to ask Hickman County who is better.

Leave the accusations to someone who can prove them, Jean

You grew up swearing at my posts. Now that's just wrong! I have long been regarded as a beloved and well respected member of this site. My repartee with those who are intelligent is legendary. Heck, I am legendary.

As for defense.. if you make it to Goodpasture, get back with me then... really! They are a machine. A private school machine with the best that scholarships can buy. It's not that they are that much better of a 2-A team than us, you or Camden. It's that they are a really good 5-A team disguised as 2-A. Thye are now, have been and will continue to be the poster child of private/public angst.

YOU ARE A FREAKING MORON. YOU WOULD FINISH FOURTH IN 6-2A BEHIND LEWIS,CAMDEN, AND WAVERLY. YOU MAY COULD BEAT WAVERLY BUT I DOUBT IT. AND IF PARSONS WAS AT ITS USUAL YOU COULDN'T BEAT THEM EITHER. YOU BEAT WAVERLY LAST YEAR AND THAT WAS LAST YEAR. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE THIS YEAR?

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
