I think I heard 37 degrees tomorrow night. Its going to be a cold one. Even though this game is away I think Halls has a good chance of getting back to five hundred. I hope Turner is back holding for O'Conner. You just get comfitable with the guy you practice with all week. I think we will see a much different offense than we saw last friday night. I think Kitts & Kelley will have the ball in their hands alot and put on a clinic that with a stiff defense which has improved every week should be enough.

Why doesn't anyone mention Dylan Moreland and the year he has had. This kid has quietly been getting the job done and making some big plays to bolster such a young defensive unit. Brandon Dutton has been the other senior that has done his job and just keeps improving. These guys are in the trenches doing all the dirty work giving us a chance to be competitive week in and week out and apart from the West game have closed Gibbs,Karns,Clinton & Powell down. This leadership has been big for the junior and sophomore group who plays along side them and you can tell it gets infectious when they come up with a big play.

One thing I do know this won't be a easy game. But one I hope we find ourselves and get the job done.

Really don't think this one will be all that close. I was surprised at the product on the field for LC. When they came into this region, I thought, with the way that that area is growing, and Coach White is pretty well regarded, that they would take some time to get adjusted, and then do pretty well. It seems like they have regressed in these two years, and I would not be surprised to see the Panthers last in the region. I think Halls will out-physical them and wear them down as the game progresses. Halls run D is pretty good. LC runs a lot out of the spread, but I think once the Halls staff sees what they do, they will adjust.

My guess is: Halls 35 Lenior City 14

Good luck to both and stay warm!!!!!!!!!!!

Powellfan,

I dont think it is Coop...Honestly i do think it is a graduate of Halls but anyway you said I still dont know who you are on an earlier post maybe even in a different forum but no i dont know who you are but I would kinda like to know.

An earlier quetion about Cruze:

Coach Julian told me that Cruze really messed up one of his fingers on his throwing hand(like split it 3 ways or something) on the onside kick he recovered against us.

To the game:

I think Halls should and will win fairly easy!

Halls-31

LC-17

As Always....Go Big Red!

The problem with Lenoir City is that they run the same offensive formation 95% of the time. Which would be fine if it worked, but it dosen't. I'd like to see some mix-up of the playbook tomorow night if nothing else. I don't want to stand out there again, freezing my azz off just to see Zack in the freaking shotgun with split backs handing off to one or the other, or faking to both & trying to scramble after the O-line has already broken down and getting taken down in the backfield for a loss every fu*king play.

Thats this frustrated fan's rant about the Lenoir City Panthers offensive strategy.

That said, go Panthers!!!

Provol you were right on the score. All is well in Red Devil land again.

O'kicker is back he booted a 51 or 52 yarder tonight. He connected on 2 field goals and 3 extra points. So his slump didn't last long.

Running game was held in check but Cooper was hot throwing to three different receivers this week for way over 200 yards in passing and 2 tds. A pat on the back to the coaching staff the Panthers made us pass with 8 or 9 in the box to stop the running game and we didn't dissapoint them.

Defense played excellent in the first half. The second half Lenoir city found some seams and ran the ball well at times. We bent but we didn't break. The defense continues to impress.

Notes of interest from the game we actually threw on first down. We had not only a two receiver set but we had three wide on a couple of occasions tonight. Brandon Johnson hauls in two great grabs to start his account as a Red Devil. Noe the Te looked very good with three or four receptions for 75 or 80 yards. Dayton makes another electricfying score eluding three Dbs with a 70+ yard score.

A good win and were back to .500 4-4 going into a home date with the Rebels. A tough task ahead playing such a powerhouse but this what you play the game for to go up against the best. There is non better than the Rebs from Maryville. I would love to have a christmas present early on this one. :D
